Thankfully, you can still score deals on terrific gadgets and goods without racking up credit debt or dipping into your savings account during Amazon’s two-day sale. In fact, there’s plenty of tech on sale for less than a Benjamin if you know where to look.

Over the years, we gadget nerds at The Verge have tested all kinds of incredible stuff, some of which are currently on sale for less than $100. They range from one of the best e-readers on the market to some of our favorite streaming devices, Fitbits, speakers, video doorbells, and video games. Best Prime Day speaker and smart display deals under $100

Amazon’s new Echo Show 8 features spatial audio and room adaptation software for improved audio quality. It also displays a different homescreen on its eight-inch display based on whether you’re standing near it or farther away. Read our review.

  • The fifth-gen Amazon Echo Dot is on sale at Amazon for $24.99 (black, blue, white) or with an 800-lumen color-changing Sengled smart bulb (blueblack, and white) for $26.98 ($43 off). Along with delivering good sound quality, the Echo Dot can help you boost your Wi-Fi coverage as Wi-Fi extender for Eero mesh networks. The new Echo Show 5 is just as small as its predecessor but features updated mics and a speaker system that delivers double the bass and clearer sound quality.

  • You can buy Amazon’s semispherical Echo Pop in blackpurpleblue, or white for $17.99 ($22 off) or with an 800-lumen color-changing Sengled smart bulb (blackpurpleblue, and white) for $19.98 ($40 off). The colorful smart speaker doesn’t sound as good as the latest Echo Dot models and lacks temperature sensors, but it still supports Alexa and offers decent sound for how compact it is. Amazon’s new Echo Spot smart speaker / alarm clock has a 2.83-inch squared-off display for showing the time, weather, music playback, and other bits of info you may want at your bedside. Unlike the original Spot, there’s no camera to worry about having in your bedroom — though it does have a mutable microphone for Alexa voice controls.

  • JBL’s Clip 4 is on sale at Amazon for $49.99 (30 off), matching its all-time low. Along with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, the highly portable Bluetooth speaker delivers good sound for its size, 10 hours of battery life, and a handy clip for attaching it to your backpack and various belongings.

These AirPods are Apple’s second generation of true wireless earbuds and the cheapest model in the AirPods lineup. Though they’re from 2019, they remain a reliable pair of buds with solid sound quality. Read our review.

Jabra’s Elite 4 Active are great fitness-focused earbuds if you’re on a budget. They’re smaller than Jabra’s Elite 3 and offer active noise cancellation along with IP57 water resistance, though they lack multipoint and wireless charging.

  • Google’s Pixel Buds A-Series are down to $69 ($30 off) at Amazon, which is $10 shy of their all-time low. The entry-level wireless earbuds are a good option if you’re already embedded in Google’s ecosystem, namely because you get access to some exclusive features. Amazon’s second-gen Echo Buds offer a comfortable design, good ANC, and a natural ambient sound mode. They support hands-free Alexa commands as well. Read our review.

  • If you don’t need active noise cancellation, Amazon’s latest Echo Buds are matching their all-time low of $24.99 ($25 off) at Amazon. Like their predecessor, the wireless earbuds integrate well with Amazon Alexa and support multipoint pairing. However, keep in mind they use a semi-open design, which lets in more ambient noise from your environment.

Instead of covering your ears or resting within them, the Shokz OpenRun deliver sound via bone conduction, helping you to remain present during indoor and outdoor activities.

  • If you’re looking for an affordable pair of noise-canceling headphones, the Sony WH-CH720N are on sale right now for $88 (about $61 off) at Amazon. They’re not as feature-packed or sound as good as Sony’s high-end WH-1000XM5, but they sound good for the price, offer up to 35 hours of battery life, and feature a lightweight design.

Philips Hue’s Bluetooth-enabled 800-lumen smart bulbs feature simple functionality and allow for a broad range of colors, giving you a quick means for controlling your lighting.
